Our organization's mission and vision are predicated on the knowledge that education is the most significant catalyst in the rehabilitation of formerly incarcerated individuals. Access to affordable housing and stability upon re-entry is paramount in the realization of our Mission.
F.O.R.T.E. provides a healthy and transparent living environment, access to employment, academic readiness, food, and clothing for formerly incarcerated students transitioning through post-secondary education.
F.O.R.T.E. takes meaningful steps to promote inclusiveness, autonomy, accountability, and economic self-sufficiency for our participants. Devising and implementing a supportive housing strategy upon reentry and maintaining strategic partnerships with community institutions, we maintain retention and minimize felon disenfranchisement.
