Our organization's mission and vision are predicated on the knowledge that education is the most significant catalyst in the rehabilitation of formerly incarcerated individuals.
F.O.R.T.E. provides a healthy and transparent living environment, access to employment, academic readiness, food, and clothing for formerly incarcerated students transitioning through post-secondary education. Access to affordable housing and stability upon re-entry is paramount in the realization of our Mission.
F.O.R.T.E. takes meaningful steps to promote inclusiveness, autonomy, accountability, and economic self-sufficiency for our participants. Devising and implementing a supportive housing strategy upon reentry and maintaining strategic partnerships with community institutions, we maintain retention and minimize felon disenfranchisement.
