Finally Summer | June 2021

A few months ago, we shared the exciting news that FORTE House founder, Tia Ryans, was chosen as a resident reporter for the Newark News + Story Collaborative of WBGO Radio. Feature episodes and full-length interviews can now be found on our website.

One year ago, on May 1, 2020... in the early, awful phase of the global pandemic...FORTE House opened its doors to our first resident. And then another. And another. Eventually, the house filled up. The students thrived.

Warm weather and blooming flowers inspire us to recommit to hope, faith, community and action.

FORTE House celebrates Women's History Month by introducing you to two amazing women making a difference today in our community.

Feel the FORTE Love! / February 2021

This month we're focused on contribution: find it in our resident profile and the interview with Chris Agans, and check out our annual report. Your love makes our work possible!

Our FORTE family is looking forward to the New Year as a time of promise, possibility, and positivity. We are grateful you have joined us on the journey!

Despite unsettling weather, COVID, and elections, we continue to be vigilant in the mission of education being the most significant catalyst in the rehabilitation of formerly incarcerated individuals.
